Summary: With flavours spanning everything from breakfast through fruits to dessert, I think it's likely there will be a flavour for everyone in this range. They're all flavourful and complex blends that work wonderfully in Sub Ohm tanks.

A Diverse Range

Urban Fog e-liquids are manufactured in the USA and supplied in zero nicotine, 50ml short-fill bottles. There’s 5 different flavours with slightly cryptic names: Sugar Fog, Blue Storm, Twister, Cool Mist and Cer’Real. Looking at the descriptions, the flavour profiles are pretty diverse. Unlike a lot of ranges which stick to one kind of flavour group like fruits or desserts, Urban Fog has got everything from breakfast through to dessert with a few fruity and drink inspired notes thrown in too. I have all of them to try and as they are a 70 VG / 30 PG ratio, I’m going to be testing them in the good old Kennedy 24 RDA with a pair of simple clapton coils. I’m keeping them zero nicotine for flavour testing, so I’m just going to top them up with plain VG.

Sugar Fog

Everyone likes a sweet vape, well almost everyone, so I’m going to start with Sugar Fog. First inhale gives me notes of butterscotch and caramel. It is indeed very sweet and it’s got quite a lot of brown sugar and sweet cream flavours that really come out on the exhale.

It’s very smooth and if you like sweet caramel and creamy butterscotch vapes then you’ll be in heaven. It has a thick mouthfeel and it might even be a little too rich and sweet for some. It’s not a light vape by any means but very decadent and delicious. Maybe not an all day vape for me but a very enjoyable sweet treat all the same.

Blue Storm

Blue Storm on the other hand is a much lighter and more refreshing kind of flavour. At its heart is a tangy lemonade with some unique additions of sweet, ripe blueberries and slices of fresh melon.

There’s a nice tingling sensation from the zingy citrus notes and some authentic berry sweetness from the blueberries on the exhale. It’s a great flavour that isn’t exactly like anything else I’ve tried lately. A great choice for lemonade fans with a unique twist that’s enough to make it stand out from the pack.

Twister

Twister is, I presume, based on a popular ice cream because it tastes very similar. The ice cream base is smooth and creamy, it tastes more like the soft whippy stuff than a rich vanilla scoop to me and while I would personally prefer the latter, it does work well in this context.

With the ice cream you get swirls of cherry and lime syrup, the lime is not too tarty and the cherries are of the dark sweet variety. There are notes of sourness but there’s plenty of sweetness to take off any of the sharper edges. On the exhale it’s creamy, sweet and fruity. Not a combination that many would dislike.

Cool Mist

Cool Mist smells great, but there’s some menthol here that I may or may not enjoy. Sometimes it works for me and other times it ruins the flavour a little for my personal taste. There’s a whole smorgasbord of berry notes in here, cherries, blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries are all quite clear on the palate.

There’s also notes of blackcurrant and a somewhat darker undercurrent to the mix. There’s some nice tarty notes that really help to create the fresh berry taste and enough sweetness to make the flavours stand out. The menthol note on the inhale is a little too much for my tastes, but it’s fine on the exhale. I wouldn’t say it’s too much if you like menthol vapes, but if you don’t enjoy it then Cool Mist might be one best avoided. As berry menthol vapes go though, this is a good one and has a really nice sweet dark berry taste that is one of the best I’ve tried, it’s cool and refreshing without tasting like a cough sweet.

Cer’Real

Finally, and after giving my RDA a very good clean, I have Cer’Real to try. I’m not really sure if you are supposed to pronounce it as ‘surreal’ but I guess it must be based on a US breakfast cereal, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever eaten for breakfast though, so the surreal name fits for me.

What I’m tasting is vanilla ice cream, rich dairy milk or cream, mixed fruits with sweet and spicy notes. It actually reminds me of a milkshake with fruit loops and cinnamon toasted cereals in it. That might not sound that nice but it’s actually delicious and my favourite of the bunch. If you like ice cream, milkshakes and dessert vapes I would highly recommend Cer’Real. Just be warned that this isn’t your average crunchy nutty cornflake type cereal vape.

Overall Summary and Conclusion

To sum up all these liquids I would have to say they are quite unique and perfect for anyone looking for something new to try. The short-fill bottles are great value and the 70% VG blend will work well in RDA’s and standard sub-tanks. The flavours are vibrant and there’s plenty of depth and layers to keep your interest. They are great quality USA made products with a wide enough range of flavours that everyone can find something they enjoy.
