The Kit

The Kanger Tech Subtank Mini is a clearomiser aimed at advanced vapers who demand a high level of adaptability from their high-tech equipment. This is a hybrid unit that can be used as a standard clearomiser with replaceable atomiser coils or as one that’s entirely rebuildable.

The kit comes with a full set of accessories including one 0.5 ohm and one 1.2 ohm atomiser, a tool kit with screws and a screwdriver, and a replacement glass tank. The kit also features two rebuildable coils, a pack of organic Japanese cotton, and a replacement Pyrex glass tank.

This clearomiser can only be used with a high-power mod-style battery because of its low resistance. The unit operates between 0.5 and 1.2 ohms, putting it into the sub-ohm category of vaping equipment. KangerTech recommends that e-liquid with a nicotine content of no more than 6mg is used with the Subtank Mini as its high power means the throat hit will be too strong with higher nicotine liquids, giving an over-harsh throat hit.

The Subtank Mini comes with an industry-standard 510 screw fitting so you’ll be able to mix and match with a wide variety of mod-style batteries. Its capacity is 4.5ml of e-liquid, higher than many clearomisers although less than its sister product, the KangerTech Subtank Plus. The unit is 48mm tall without the drip tip and has a diameter of 22mm.

The clearomiser also comes with a mechanism to control airflow to your taste.

  • Choice of manufactured replacement atomisers or build-your-own
  • Air control mechanism
  • Fully rebuildable unit
  • High compatibility 510 connection

  • Only to be used with mod-style batteries
  • Some technical skill necessary for rebuildable atomiser unit

Cost: £26.99
