DVTCH Tom Pouce Short Fill
Summary: Paying homage to a dutch pastry - this juice is extremely flavoursome and on the right side of sweet.
Who, you might well ask, is Tom Pouce? In fact, it turns out that he was Dutch 19th-century music hall act. He somehow gave his name to a Dutch delicacy, the tompouce. It’s a kind of pastry covered with pink icing and filled with vanilla custard, much loved by Dutch folk with a sweet tooth.
And that brings us to Dvtch’s Tom Pouce e-liquid which does indeed incorporate the flavours of pink icing and pastry, with custard added to that. This one is definitely a juice for those who are fans of dessert and cake style liquids.
Tom Pouce comes as a short fill style juice and it’s packaged in a 50 ml bottle. You can add a nic shot to it, or if you prefer, use it as a nicotine-free vape. Mix it with a 10ml, 18mg nic shot and you’ll have 60ml of 3mg liquid, an ideal strength for sub-ohm vaping and cloud chasing.
The PG to VG ratio is 15 to 85 and that high level of VG means that this is not only a very smooth juice to vape, it’s also an outstanding producer of thick clouds of vapour.
On the inhale, you’ll get the sweetness of the custard and then you’ll taste the combination of the buttery pasty and the pink icing. Although it’s certainly a sweet vape, it’s never sickly and you’ll find that this makes a tasty all-day vape.
It comes as no surprise that this juice is an award winner. It took first prize in the Best Pastry Flavour e-liquid at the 2017 Vape Jam show.
